Long ago, Planet Shark was a glittering oasis of clear blue water.
The Galactic Alien Council, certain the world was empty, cast its refuse from orbit year after year.
Decommissioned weapons and the wreckage of forgotten wars fell like rain into the seas.
The Sharkanoid inhabitants of the planet, long hidden beneath the waves, were furious that their home had become a dumping ground.
They cried out for vengeance against the uncaring Galactic Alien Council.
You lead these Sharkanoids. Rise up, arm yourself with the spoils of a careless galaxy, and crush your rivals.
One day you will lead the Vendetta Force- and clean up this planet.
What is Planet Shark?
Planet Shark is a campaign-driven miniatures skirmish game that invites players to lead warbands of Sharkanoids battling over a polluted ocean world.
Sharkanoids are excitable, durable, and impulsive creatures with a knack for causing trouble. United under the right leader, they form deadly shivers that fight for territory, resources, and revenge.
Customize your warband and repurpose alien scrap into weapons of war.
For 2+ players. Games take 45–90 minutes.
Who is it for? Players who:
- want fast, tactical gameplay without complicated rules
- who like building and customizing small, characterful warbands
- who enjoy campaign progression with persistent units and story
- and appreciate a lighter tone (no grim darkness here!)

are hardpoints the same as fins? or can mechs still use two-finned weapons on one hardpoint (equip two two-finned weapons?)
Hardpoints allow you to equip a weapon no matter how many fins it takes. So a 2 fin weapon can be equipped to 1 hardpoint.
Hi, I didn't find the scenarios and enemy information for Vendetta Campaign. Did I miss something?
You fight normal scenarios against other players im pretty sure, you just track your Shiver's upgrades as the campaign goes on.
It feels like more of a tournament style play bundled in with the Narrative to me, but im sure the dev will chime in with their intent.
The campaign adds progression and flavor to your games of Planet Shark, and is played with the normal scenarios and rules- aside from those notes in the Vendetta campaign section.
The rules seem to be slightly different from the ones on Taiga Miniature's page, which one is the correct book for this game?
This is the new rules for Planet Shark! The rules on the Taiga Miniatures page were the rules available when they launched their Kickstarter.
Thanks! I love the Paper minis, will there be more gear and weapon options in the future, like the quad rocket launcher in the splash art, or more Mechs?
Anything is possible in the future, but we aren't confirming anything right now. We have a healthy community of homebrewers and creative types and we encourage everyone to play around with whatever they find fun! We'll be keeping a close eye on what people create.
